Only if your trapping less then 135mph...I am getting ready to send my car off for caging and ran into this issue. You might as well go with atleast an 8 point

You're only one mph from needing a full cage, so just do it.

A traditional 6 point(2rear, 2mainhoop, 2front pillars) plus door bars, plus "D" bars, plus harness bar is good to 8.50 or 180mph once certified.

ANYTHING OVER 135MPH HAS TO HAVE A FULL 10PT. 150 IT IS GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A CHUTE.

It's IFO, you don't need any safety equipment. You just need $25.

I'm sure it's different from track to track, but in both Vegas and Kansas city there was no rollbar or rollcage rules enforced.

So your telling me in december at IFO they checked you for a cage, because they didn't check us for anything. I watched a GTR run 9.8 at 152 and the only safety euipment he had was a helmet.

Srsly? Any NHRA sanctioned track you will be under their specific saftey rules no matter the "event" (BOTI, IFO, etc).
