Speaking of which, are you going to be in Milan? I actually get to race at this one, in the FRPP media invitational... Though it would be cool to draw the GT500, I think I'll probably go farther in eliminations if I get the F150 with an automatic.

I hate to admit it, but the prospects for our business model being able to make money in the sport compact realm are even less rosy now than when we pulled the plug on OR. Meanwhile, we just had the largest issue in Race Pages history...
I really hope that things improve now that the NHRA won't be so POWERade-centric. NOPI is probably a lost cause, now that Mustangs dominate every class that they're allowed into. That's a bell that can't be un-rung. Or maybe we'll get into the business and start a third series for SC cars... I suppose anything is possible.

i think the GT500 stock spins the rollers at just under 500 - I think our test mule here are JBA is doing 540 with our long tubes, x pipe and cat back with a tune

I'm told it only does 570 or so to the wheels. Should be interesting, since it's on street tires. My goal now is not to win - it's to just not be "that guy who stuffed Ford's car into the wall."

Well, I didn't embarass myself. Out of 14 drivers, I made it to the semi-finals, and I was the only guy driving a stick who did. If I hadn't bogged the car so bad, I would have been in the finals - I absolutely killed my opponent on the tree, but couldn't make up for the sluggish 60-foot.
