Default Is this right???

I race my friends B20vtec dx hatch.
The car has the fallowing mods

CAI, 4-1 header, MSD Ignition, N1 Exhaust, AEM Cam gears, vafc and skuck 2 chip. He says it also has type r cams and skunk valve train. The car has ran (so he says) 13.0 @ 105 on drag rads.

Ok now the good part. My car ( h22 civic 4 door full weight with i/e, chip) ran 14.1 @ 97 in very hot weather on sticky tires. My best mph is 98.2 . Now the only thing i have done sence then is pump my tires from 20 psi to 35 and fix my shifter so i can shift a little quicker cause my other one was flopping around and bolted in with 2 bolts.

Ok so we race from 60- 120 and both of us stayed side by side. We raced 2 other times but we both fucked up so i dont count them. He says he would rape me from a stop but top end we are the same. My car does pull pretty good but i think with his setup he should of killed me no problem. So I ask what his settings are on his vafc and fuel pressure. He says his fuel pressure is set @ 60 psi and plus 6% on the high cam on the vafc. I think he is running way too rich for his setup. I have heard skunk 2 program on bseries runs rich even with mods. I think if he leaned it out some the car would pull from mine. What do you guys think? I also think he should lower his fuel pressure to 45 psi or so.

well im a proud h22 fan, and have had a friend run a 12.8 in a 4 door eg that was all stock but I/H/E. the car completely gutted. Now when it comes to your friends settings, you guys just need to get it dynoed and i recommend hondata, for a couple reasons. Alot of people can tune them, and its inexpensive. i don't think there should be any adjustments done unless it is done on a dyno. each motor reacts differently to the smallest settings. I also think the prelude will do really well with a good tune. I do think you should invest in some good set of cams as well. you will see significant amount of hp. Good luck and long live H22

Take his car to the track and see what it really runs.

Thanks guys for the info. He is going to dyno his car in a few weeks and as well as I. I did put my header on this weekend so maybe now I can hit 13s.
