It's been a while and I made a major change that has taken way to long to finish. But its done, just in time for winter. It had a powerglide before, now the go fast tranny. Believe it or not, i removed approx 360 lbs of useless tihs. Testing soon.

Embarrassed to say, but 8.05 @ 158, the biggest issue with this motor we're the stock cams, they run out at 8300ish. So, these are in the next motor. The old motor has enough life left in it to learn the new trans, then we'll see.

yea i've seen dyno videos of this car sounds nasty, why don't you try and see if web cam can develope camshafts for the j-series !!!!!

Why'd you get rid of the auto?

 

If im not mistaken im pretty sure its harder to build boost at the line with a powerglide.... i know titan motorsports took out the powerglide out of there supra and dropped in a liberty trans and ran a 7.59 with the liberty !!!!

New drivetrain looks great! Wow 360lbs drop, I would have never guessed there would have been that much in weight difference! Wish you luck on your up and coming testing!
