question about ODB2 harness

Has anyone in here ever heard about ODB2 A and ODB2 B, wiring harness for a honda.Im very far from been a mechanic but ive been around hondas for over 10 yrs and never heard such thing.My mechanic is telling me that my AEM 1050-390 is not compatible to my 99civic harness. Thanx

the pinouts are definitly differant from obd2a and obd2b. you will have problems, if you try it out.

contact the guys at rywire.com and tell them you need a USDM OBD2a to OBD2b conversion harness if you want to run that box in your OBD2b chassis.
