First question is with drag radials do i drive through the water or go around it?
Second do you stop in the middle of the puddle or drive through it then burn out or just burn out in the water directly?
Thanks

Through my experience with them, the more heat they get the better. What I found to work pretty well is just spin the tires through the water box in first, and then do a second gear burnout with the e-brake up for at least over 5 seconds. With the tires spinning around 50 m.p.h they heat up nicely. I tried to heat them up without going through the water and it didn't work too good. The back tires just dragged and didn't let the front tires heat up enough for good traction.
With radials you could go through the water box, but DONT EVER spin the tires in the box. Alot of people think you are supposed to but that is a huge no, no. When you spin the tires over in the box the water gets thrown up i your wheel wells. After you have completed your burnout and are staging the water will start to drip down onto the track into the groove. Not only is it a pain in the *** for the starter(me) to keep having to clean up, it also puts the water in front of your tires and as you might know radials/slicks + water = no traction. So roll through the burnout box but dont spin the tires. Get the front wheel on a dry surface and burn away.
Oh and another thing that is real good to do. When you are lined up to get in the burnout box, but not in the water or the box yet just spin the tires(no burnout) over to clean the rocks off. This helps keep the track cleaner which is obviously always a better surface for more grip. Once rocks get on a well preped track it is hard to get them unstuck from the VHT.
