Default Q16 fuel question

So I just had my car tuned, on q16. There's about 4 gallons still in my tank, my question is now that the car will sit for a while ( I dnt daily it, it's my weekend warrior ..)
What should I do? Jus leave it and start it every other day? Or do I have to drain it? What are my options here? Thanks in advance...

I would drain it and flush it with some pump gas

I doubt it affects too much. Im on Q and I pickle the fuel system with 87 oct for about 5-10 minutes. Idle aint too bad with the fuel change.

If u leave Q16 sitting for a long time, it will eat parts away. Pickle the system and u will be golden.

I drain the Q16, add 2-3 gallons of pump gas, run the car for a few minutes, and then let it sit until the next event. Then repeat process with Q16.

takes about a minute to get it out. I made a hose with an AN fitting that I swap with my feed line and run it to a gas can.

I just put the return line into a gas can, turn the pump on with a battery charger hooked up

I have run Q16 for a couple years now. The longest I ever let is sit was 2 weeks and I add some octane boost and fuel stabilizer and I had no problems.

You could idle the car with the return line in a gas can.

i take the line off the rail and add an extension into a can or bucket when draining. Kick that pump on and it drains it fast! (aeromotive pro)

I have been running Q16 for just about 4 years now in my race car, I have never drained it. It sits all winter with it in the tank, I have not had any problems... BUT, It is safest to switch if you know the car will be down for a few months, as for a couple week, NO WAY I would switch, its a waste of time.

isnt there a 17mm drain plug on the bottom of the tank? thats how i drain my gas just make sure you have the fill cap off so it will flow out of the tank and not just dribble down the bottom of the tank

There is a drain but every time I pull one, it drips when it goes back in. Takes a few attempts to get it to stop

That damn plug can be a real A-hole.
