Preloading question.
Test and tune session at the local track today and wanted some tips from seasoned track boys regarding preloading the driveline to better my 60' foots. Previously, I was using the rev and dump technique on 22x8x13 and yielded less than stellar 1.8's. Any advice on preloading to minimize driveline shock and leaving on boost will be appreciated. B16a turbo making around 325 whp in an EK coupe. Thank you gentlemen.

When you are pulling up to the staging lights get the first light to come on then grab your e-brake and give it tension while you slip the clutch out and giving gas to move forward a little bit. You will turn on the second light....Now pull the ebrake up even harder and when the lights are coming down start slipping the clutch with some throttle while hold up hard on the e-brake....You will start building some boost at this time. When the light turns just drop the e-brake and go full throttle.
This technique workes well for me, but I am useing a MSD two step launch control whitch I have noticed to gain a little more boost off the line than without.
