Default Preloading question

I put light pressure in the brake bring up the revs. Then drag the car into the beam, when the stage light comes on i push in clutch and pull the brake at the same time. But when i do that car bounces when it stops.

Sometimes i have to b on the 2 step while iam prestaged then roll in
Is the trans unloaded when the clutch is pushed in to stop the car

Just wanna know how the big dogs do it

Big dogs don't preload cause their transmissions can take it.

I ride the e-brake just before 2nd stage light. 2nd light, WOT pulling e-brake hard.

I stage completely then pull the e-brake, wot at first yellow let clutch out slightly on 2nd yellow and launch on last yellow.

If you run the slicks at a lower pressure, they become a shock absorber for the hit. It's something you'll want to walk into, don't just jump to lower pressure. You'll find out why in the top end. 4-4.5psi.

Is your chassis aligned. We had our's set up to OEM spec's and my eye ball for rear camber, straight up.
