power shifting???

Default power shifting???

how bad is power shifting really on your tranny/clutch? do you guys do it at the track? does it make a difference?

well, it is NOT friendly. On SOHC trannys, expect to replace 1-2 shifter fork every year.

I usually have a 92-95 1-2 shifter fork on hand. I replace it anytime I tear apart a S20 tranny that will see future service.

I've broken a few.......



usually the dreaded 2-1 downshift when autoxing kills most 1-2 shifter forks.

funny, my friend drove around for 15k miles with a broken 3rd gear shift fork thinking it was the synchro.............
