potential race...
Alright. I have a question. I have decided to potentially put up some money on a race wiht a SRT-4 Neon. I believe it's all stock besides a BOV. I have a 1994 honda civic, stock internals, greddy turbo kit but with a chipped Uberdata ecu and 450cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump. I am thinking about running 9 lbs of boost. Also, have exhaust. 2.5 inch. All interior, stock 14" steelies. Gonna be tuned to 9 lbs. so you think i could potenetially win???? if i drove it right.......or any particualr distance i should race him to help insure a win.....obviously i would prolly race him in the 1/4...
did i say i was gonna street race.......hmmm.....no not really....i could have also raced him in the 1/8th mile....it's the closer track from where i live..but i'd like to race 1/4 really....so no...i'm not street racing....im drag racing on the drag strip.....

you being for real serious.......??? i mean i havent drove my car like this yet..it'll prolly be a couple months before i race him..but i got all my stuff esides the ecu and a good tune...i really hope so...i'm gonna put down like 50 bux i think....

the way I see it is, if you drove the best that you could and the car performed the best that it can... then.
you have 50% chance of winning.

this thread reminds me of the stock '94 Viper I'm supposed to race this spring. (track).. :D
best tip - show up with a brand new set of drag radials the day you race him..
Is this guy an amature? the best way to blow away a newbie is to rev the hell out of your engine when getting ready to launch, but then launch at a predetermined (lower) RPM.. the poor suckers will always do the same and sit on the line and spin. hahaha..

This is the second thread in here about will I win if I race this car.
GO RACE HIM AND FIND OUT. Why are people so dam afraid to race what they have. If you think you are going to loose then don't race him or don't bet money in the race. Simple enough.
