Default POS Insight

Here are a couple pics from last month. Its really a pain in the butt to upload these pics to my site so I will try and get the most recent pics up whenever I have 4 years to jerk around with my free Comcast site.

The next steps are paint, finish cutting windows, and we need to have our axles made. Other than that its about to start kicking. There are some nifty little things that we did on the interior that I'll have to post up later....you'll either love it or laugh at it

This was the start for the wheel tubs. Flames on the side and carbon on the top. It looks cool sitting in place.

Looks good, are you guys running wheelie bars? Where will they attach if you are?

Yes...the top bars mount on the inside of the top of the strut and the bottom bar is underneath that raised piece of aluminum in the floor. I had a picture of it up awhile back but I took it off the site so you'll get a red X. I'll take some more pics so you can see how they mount up.

I think it looks great. But don't you want more leverage for the upper wheelie bar mounts. Like outside of the trunk.

The race car looks great so far! GOOD LUCK!

I was just curious as to how everyone is finding these insights? Arent they hard to come by? Do you have to find a complete running car, or can you find just the bodies for sale?

Thanks
Gary I.

Nice EZ-Go golf cart. Represent!

I've seen insights out here for like $10,000... but that's a lot to pay for a body. Just waiting for someone to run one w/ a K20A2 for Sport FWD.

Car looks excellenté!

Over a year ago, you could find insights with high miles for around $6K....they are not abundant though

We were lucky enough to find one in perfect condition with a broken camshaft and the lady really needed the money. We were finding them in the junkyard with light front end damage for around 5 grand. But these things are so frail you just tap it a bit and its getting bent out of shape. I wouldn't work with a wrecked one at all.

Just buy a new one for around 20 grand

Man there's a whole list of stuff on this car that people will be disagreeing with. You all won't know where to start.
