from what i've HEARD....the phantom grip is exactly what it states...PHANTOM....i dont know your desired HP & TQ figures or intended use of your car, but if i were you id get a stock honda LSD before a Phantom Grip. But, if youre able to get a quaife, do so. You know with the Quaife you'll have quality and longevity. just my .02
with the car we are looking to run into the low 11's hopefully *crosses fingers*, do you know of which lsd i'd be able to use with a 91 integra cable tranny? thanks alot for the reply.

Don't plan on running that tranny for too long if you go with a phantom grip, every tranny I have ever seen with a phantom grip, the trnny was tore up. quaiffe is way better but if all you care about is going straight get a spool.
stay away from the phatom grip...if you have enough hp to run low 11's you have more then enough hp to destroy it...spend the money and do it right the first time....for drag only the spool has one draw back...if you break an axel your very likely to hit the wall....i have the prodrive spool...i would rather take that chance then blow up $1200 lsd's

if you're thinking your car is gonna break 11s, then you obviously have more than 300 hp, which means you're past the limits of the stock honda diff, in which case you're just asking for trouble by putting in the phantom grip. all it does is turn your stock open diff into a LSD.....road racers and autoXers use them and get away with it b/c most of the people that run them are in classes that limit engine mods (read: they aren't making more than 20-50 hp over stock). i've got one in my 94 Integra that I autoX in DSP, and for the money it works just fine, but it sure ain't no quaife....I just don't have the $900 bux to spend on that, hoosiers ain't cheap at $150 a tire, especially when you blow through 2 sets in a season!
a little tiny piece of metal...
oorrrr.....
Now that I have the quaife in, I think it is definately the best mod for the $. You will definately put down faster numbers with the quaife
