I installed it into my car pretty easy to do and had little luck with it. on the street my my cars have always spunn two tires open diff or with grip. But when I go to the track and throw my 24.5 x 8 x 13 slicks on it always spins on tire for part of the burnout. No matter if I turn the wheel a little or engage reverse before or what ever little trick I heard the **** would spinn one tire in part of the burnout. But i NEVER had one tire spin when I launched grip or open. So I say that ***** no good man.

The Phantom Grip is AWSOME !!!!

We kept breaking Ring gears and one quaife....

We Put The NEW extreme Grip in there... Best 60's ever with the RLZ street car..

We run them in 5 and 600 HP turbo cars no problem they really work...

There are different springs available now. The green springs (race) seem to work really well.

And plus the new Transmission cradle out is working out really well for top name racers for holding up the transmissions.

There are times that the Phantom Grip doesnt work, but from what Ive seen from the ones that have been installed seem to work really well.

Remember always, you get from what you pay for

My friend has a Phantom Grip in his B16. His is complete trash. Doesn't work for crap.

Hoping d-rob will pitch in on this topic. He had created another tread about his. Not sure which forum but just search for it.

I dont use the pantom grip, but i use a similar piece. azracemachine.com I managed to cut a 1.701 60ft on road racing slicks, aerospeed coilovers, and 2 blown struts. however i did use ratchet tie downs as suspension straps. I took apart the tranny to upgrade to a bigger spring for bigger slicks and the tranny looks like new inside. I really cant complain for the kinda performance I am getting.
