Default Ok, good question here.

My h22a Ek9 hits 13.9/14.0 at 2600 feet elevation all moda and makes 181 hp and 152 tq, regular bolt ons only, stock internals.

What i want to know is, should i go with a ls/vtec or stay with the h22a? since i plan to boost again here in a few months, trying to figure out the best plan of action.

The car has been boosted before with the stock motor and then with a twin cam 95 zc (i am obd-1),has run best times of 13.5 @ 100 and 13.2 @ 101 respectively.

All runs were on 22x8x15 inch mt slicks.

I plan on running 11.90's with boost now..street car

Boosting EK guys speak out.

H22 is definatly a good candidate for what you are planning. 11s should not be a problem with the right chassis setup and of course BOOOOST!

Been through one gearbox already with this swap, the one in the front clip was bad from day one.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, i just get mixed feelings about boosting the h22a.
So far i have had 2 dx engines boosted, one zc and one b16a over the years.

Usually mid 12's to low 13's.
(Twelves were with the b16a).
