If you don't run close to 11.50 its gonna be real hard to win an 11.50 index class...make your car run consistent 11.5x's and the sandbaggers will have a tough time winning.

The reason they weren't going to allow 3 piece fronts was to keep the true street cars looking like actual street cars and separate them from the outlaw cars. I didn't make the rule nor do i care if people actually drive on the street with them, i think they look badass and would drive on the street with it. What i did disagree with, was people building a car outside of the rules and then asking for the rule to be changed.

That being said, we need to have as many people out there as possible so the current rules used this year are perfect and they should keep them.

wow so many haters, the blue 240 has no cage, its his daily driver hence why he had to run the 11.50 clas..simple as that, if you car meets the rules you should be able to compete in whatever class you want.
GO NSCRA!!

Good point.

You have yet to answer my question. Why is a faster car running in a slower class? Easy money? Are people doing it for the love of the sport or just for the money

I would like to know a answer to this? It makes some people less inclined to get involved if they know they're running against a 10 second car that's going to sand bag in the 11.5 index.

Because the 11.50 class is the only one that a car with no cage is legal to run in. Some other cars slipped into different classes even though they weren't legal but that's besides the point.

85% of the cars in 10.50 have no cage.
