NPB and Clutch Master problem
Well I went back on saturday to our local **** box track. And ripped out a new personal best ET of 12.5@110mph 60ft was 1.86, not bad, but getting better for an open dif d16 powered 4dr! Anyway, after a few more passes, I think my clutch gave out, wouldn't hold the power on the lauches, and through 3/4th gear, it felt like it was slipping. The clutch engagement was very soft, like oem soft. I'm running a Clutch Master stage 4 clutch been about 14000km on it, and a bunch of drag days. How long should a clutch like this last? I would have though alot longer as I'm not near the tq rating for this clutch
i sometimes have the same problem with my CM4. But seems like its always the first pass down the track and then after that it grabs. This is on slicks.
My only guess is that since I daily drive the car also is that the pucks get a little glazed and wears oddly from normal driving with slipping the clutch etc. Then after the first pass is slips and gives a new contact surface between the pp/fly.
It could have been a combination of that and my clutch master cylinder was slightly leaking. Ive been to the track once with a new mc installed and it felt a little better, but only got one run on the slicks that night.
To add. I pulled my clutch about 2000 miles after it went in. Looked like **** honestly, like it worn a lot faster than it should have. Im now in the market for a twin disc, just gotta save some loot.

The clutch has been great all season, daily driven, weekend beaten on the street/strip. It was the first pass that I got the good run in, after that, wouldn't hold. As you said before, I agree this clutch likes abuse, the more the better it feels. Its been that way up until saturday when it happened. Clutch was broken in properly, it just doesn't seem right.
