Stock B20 block with eagle rods and arias 10:5:1 compression piston, b16 head with no pnp work just supertech valvetrain, 150 shot direct port nitrous set up courtesy of NX, blox intake manifold, RPM TB, edelbrock race header, gsr tranny, tuned on an s300 by st00pid making 211whp N/A and 300+ on the bottle ran 11.0's for 8 months running every weekend on c16 utilizing a walboro 255 (budget build I know, but fast as hell!). I don't know if that is any help but nitrous is fun just not as fun as boost. Got vids in case you want d proof, by the way hate to thread jack but whats the fastest you all have seen/heard a nitrous car run in the 1320, daily driven full interior?

BIG TUNA knows his stuff and he's pumping my yada, yada. No hard feelings to anyone!!!!!!!. Port nitrous works at the flip of a switch if you know how to light it off.

No Problem! I got more N20 info for anyone who's interested, I.E. timing, coatings, purging(I do it in the box), your electronics and wiring all that good stuff. just ask! Those videos of the Hb vs. the Integra are very cool!

I have a direct port kit on my crx its a 86mm sleeved block with a 92mm stroker crank. I was gonna run meth out of a seperate fuel cell when spraying n20. I was gonna start with a 50 shot and work my way up to see how the motor liked it. I have 12.25:1 compression and am running twm itb's with the direct port. I am still in the process of the getting the car together but have all the parts. What i am asking should i just run race gas instead of meth or run meth.

Whats the point of spraying it when you are gonna take away all the power by pulling out so much timing so you can run it on crap gas. i couldn't agree more.....

300/300/400 hp shot on a 15:1 motor, cake walk.

But we are talking a motor that makes 1600 hp before the added N20

740 cubes of Merlin Tall Deck BBC thru a Lenco.

Lets talk Pro Mod, or we can talk puny Honda's.

Same tuning principles.

I'm running a 75 shot dry in a jdm type-r the compression isn't as high as yours
but I've had no problems. I've gone through 4 bottles, and it took 1sec off
my 1/4 mile. run good gas as in super and retard your timing 2deg should be fine.

LoL I think Im going to need to run a bit more than Super, I know thats probably rare to get on the West Coast. I will def need to take more than 2 Deg. out.

Thanks for your input

Cool thread and this reply is for evryone. Does anyone care to share thoughts about what kind of operating system their using to control the N20. I'm using a Micro switch on the throttle body to send power to a MSD window switch that I have set-up w/ adjustable RPM switches that run off the signal from my sparkbox. This set-up works great and its a no brainer to run when your holding on for the 120 shot that I use in all gears down the track(while granny shifting). However at the top of the 1/4, it seems like a second stage is in order because that 120 shot is like a 50 shot when your pullin for the lights!.

Im most likely just going to use the Nitrous control through S300. Depends on what the tuner likes.

Okay Matt you got me on this one what's a S300?, I chose the nitrous as my power adder because I knew when it was activated I'd be at WOT which puts my ECU in an open loop thus no engine management mods needed. So go ahead give me some S%$T.

it is and engine management system that has several options to activate
boost/nitrous solinoids and what ever else you want to wire up to be activated.

Ahh I see like an AEM EMS. Is an S300 better...... worse and whose it made by?. I've been toying with the thought of installing an aftrermarket ECU. I'm interested in something like this because all the wiring for my set-up produces a certain amount of lag time when activated.

Any port set-up you use is going to be a custom installation. I used a vertical mill, lathe, mig welder and all my favors up @ my local speed shop. I can see how you'll have to use tax return money to buy the kit, when I bought mine Holley PN. 04430NOS it was $499.00 now I see it going for well over $700.00. However it's worth every penny because once its working...............well you'll see!!!
