Don't give up if your car doesn't run as fast as you may have "thought" it would of. There are so many locals around here that have for example stock GSR's with I/H/E thinking that there cars at least a mid low 13-12 second car etc lets say... yet in reality on their first track day they end up running 16.xx if not slower... Stick with it, you'll get better with seat time. HAVE FUN!!!
well ive heard form some people that launching techniques on the street and on the track are differnet, like is it the ground or what? wen i launch i hold it at 3500. do you guys launch differently on the street and on the track?

i havea 96 cd5 accord, short ram itnaek, dc sport 4-2-1 header, 2.5 exhaust, gutted rear interior. what tiems do you think i should get. if i was a good driver that day, do you guys think i can break 15's?
Speaking with experience from Sac raceway, dont floor your pedal in first gear, it is going to slip like crazy!. learn to feather it. The track IS way different than the street, the street, you got gravel and other stuff to help you grab, the track is smoothe and you wount stick for **** with street tires... good luck though.

Giving up is for homos!! Seriously tho, just have fun and dont worry about everyone else, seat time makes a huge difference, you can drop 10ths of a sec at least just from more seat time...
