Does anybody know how strict nhra will be on the lower engine containment device rule? Is anyone even making one for imports? deist was talking about making one but I dont know if they have.
Yes..any of those classes that has points and championship like hot-rod was what I meant by pro class...anyway,I think they run around $150-250 but Im really not sure,I believe XXXracing on this board has one, ask him.

Thomas from Camp1320 told me that Taylor will make custom for our cars, we are looking to get them much cheaper than the estimated $1200 prices i have heard.Once Tom finds out, we will post , so everyone like me won't **** bricks taht we cannot live up to rule.
1200?? I know Dennis Taylor of Taylor motorsports, and he has already done one for Kubo and Brokenboltz, I mean Bergenholtz. He told me that he needs a complete honda motor with everything from exhaust to intake on it, basically take the motor out of your car and take it to him for like 5 days. He told me that they are trying to keep the cost down around 500 bucks for the diaper. http://www.taylormotorsports.com/StoreFront.bok Give them a call and find out..
because they have been around for years for a top fueler and they are all basically the same. Taylor hand makes them and until they are more common, they will cost a little more. I still don't think that it is too bad.
The RCI diaper in the Summit catalog was designed for V8's. (NOT top fuel, BTW.) A couple of teams have purchased this unit, measured it for modification and then taken it to a local upholstery shop to have it altered to fit their particular application.
Some other teams are trying a "drip pan" style of restraint, that will be lined with absorbent material and secured under the engine.

we made our own to what we think will work, skelly told us to just put a drip type pan on it said they have been using then in another series.just some options for you guys
Sounds good. anything that works to get you to the track. i was just worried that i wouldn't be able to run the race series without the engine containment. we were going to make our own but i like the quality and the easy fit of Tayleor products. its always hard to squeeze a little more money on a already little budget, but what can you do, its racing.
the rci is for a honda or 4 cyinder I will have one this week $360. but racer less 25% of ? call me next week if they work 801 569-1300 joe
