Kirkey Aluminum Racing Seats are very light, also I've heard of people using carbon fiber shifter cart seats for drag cars. But as far as prefab, any light aluminum chair like a kirkey will do..

We are very happy with our Kirkey seats - adding the upholstery covers makes them very comfortable. They are also available in different seat widths.
You can check the seats out in our car on page 2. http://www.cardomain.com/id/oaksracing

i got the 17" kirkly.. and it was two inches too wide.. but they offer a 15"... i just cut some out of the middle and re-welded it... i also cut the top off to try to save weight.. they use thick aluminum... you could make one yourself that is a lot lighter if you have the time/capabilities.. but for $99 you cant really beat em

All the weights are listed on their website. They make a lot of different seats so make sure you are checking the right one.

Summit Racing Seat
The new ones are light as hell. I just got one. Not the short one, but the taller one with the slanted cutouts for the harness.
