I need a good cage for street/track. Im trying to set my car up so I can make a 12sec pass.

 

you dont need a cage for a 12 second pass. The new rule for a cage is 11.49 Just get yourself a helmet and you'll be set.

 

when did that take effect cause i ran at lacr and another guy said not to run under 13 sec or they would ban me cause of my setup i dont have a big brake conversion i dont have cage thanks for the help

so far 13 flatbut im only boosting 9 psi and i want to go to 18 but dont want to get banned

LOL seriously though S&W is cheap and ships fast. Ive installed a few of there cages and they allow you to keep the rear seats (atleast in hatchs)...Although there fitment could be better (in terms of notching) IMO

 

i thought a cage wasnt need til 9.99, unless your stock firewall has been messed with, then you need the cage. but i know for sure that a roll bar is all you need for 11.49 and faster to ??.?? i think its 10.00 unless of course you are over 135 mph which most of us hondas are when were in the low 11's and 10's... so neverming!!

they wont ban you. they will say dont come back untill you have blah blah (what ever you require to go what ever time)
