Congrats to Tony for winning the class. It was also great meeting the guys at Full Race.
The prelude was in 4th gear by the 330 mark - tire spin was crazy - we even turned down the boost for the first run. The rev limit was set at 10,200 and didn't work - blew the upper radiator hose and head gasket - damaged the block and cylinder head. We patched it back up to keep racing, but had no oil pressure - Oil pump shattered. This is what made the track slick.

We have decided to stay in our local area to do testing, testing and more testing until we have the power to the ground. We have also decided to not make any more changes to the car. It was not the weekend we were looking for, but it will all come together in time.
Brent and Rick from PFI worked hard with us in the pits and we really appreciate the support.

 

Ewwwww...so you guys, broke an oil pump...blew a head gaskets and melted **** all at the same time? That's horrible...

Is the Dry-Sump still on there? I'm assuming not??? 10,200 is sick for an H22...wow.
