ive never ran a nopi event before i plan on running in the street power adder category.
what do i need to get ready before the
NDRA
1st Annual New York Nationals
July 22/23 New York International Raceway Park Leicester, NY.

event?
I have a roll 8 bar roll bar.... times are going to be probably high 10s to mid 11's
i need to get registered for NDRA #'s ?
Sorry guys but im a noob when it comes to ndra and all the events down there as ive never competed down there before

are you running turbo street or power street?

turbo street=slicks
Power street= BFG's

you should be ok on the cage as long as it is welded in and the correct size piping

8 point is good till 9.99 or 135mph if you go over 135 you need a 10 point

but what do i need to compete?
NDRA #'s ? or can i jsut show up and compete for one event?

i also think i need a fire jacket since im under 11.5

 

I belive you can just show up and register for the one event.

Yes you can show up and race as long as your car passes tech. You will not have to worry about a # till you win something, then you have to pay $25 for your membership and they mail you a card.

might want to check the rule book bret, im sure it is if you have a unmodified firewall you can have an 8 point good to a 10.0 or 150. Someone protested me for this but it worked out in my favor.

 

this is why i dont like the ndra a rules nhra requies it no matter the firewall issue

you'll need it to run up here, there only like 125 ish for an rci one performance improvements if not in stock they will get it next day
