Default Mission Impossible?

Goal: Build a 12second N/A Integra in about 1 week
Progress:

Last wednesday I bought this white 94 Integra RS

I still had some parts left over from my last integra, which i recently sold. Stuff like Jun3 Cams, Hondata, Ignition etc.

Strippd down the car yesterday.

Friday had my machinst hone my spare block and I pieced it together later that night, with some pistons i bought earlier that day and some rods i had lying around.

SHINY!

I hooked it up with a Krylon Gunmetal Metallic Flake paint jobby job

Gonna try to run this thing at the Battle of the Imports In Petersburg, VA on 7/14

LS/VTEC ? What is the bore on that puppy-judging by the cylinder spacing > 85mm ? You certainly don't waste a whole lot of time, got a day job? Let us know how it turns out

Well, when your job is building motors, you tend to have a few around.

86X89 ? Hmm... Lets see....( 1/2 X 8.6) (1/2 X 8.6) X 8.9 X 3.14 X 4 = 2066.88616.
2066.88616 X Jun3 X ~ hours of work/ Hondata = 12.99/ .25 mile. Yup, it works out.
Mathematically speaking, it's in the bag

made some progress.. got the head back today, but didnt have time to install it, thatll be left for tomorrow.

here is a pic of what you need to do when you filled your car with 87 octane prior to the removal of the stock engine.

well just an update for those who are following this thread.

didnt run 12s.. but really ran short on time and wasnt able to do any tuning at all.
we finished the car, made sure it ran (idled) loaded it up on the trailer and hauled *** to the track.

first pass was a slooo 14.6 b/c i had an ecu problem
best i could muster on the day was a 13.3

however this was enough to be the #1 qualifier and winner of the race due to lack of decent competetion.. i think the next guy behind me was running 14.0s

so im gonna tune the car this upcoming weekend and fix the trans and see if i cant go 12s next week at the ndra race in maryland.
