Good product, however I had to pay import taxes because it was shipped from Hong Kong. Nowhere did I see it mentioned that these taxes would come from my pocket....

Kinda crappy if you ask me.

I use Phantom Grip and it works perfect. Some people hate it but it works beautiful. Its proven to work in the Sports Compact Industry. The Mfactory lsd I don't know what material they use and will it hold up high HP.....

If you are making decent power, you shouldn't even consider using a crappy phantom grip.

Exactly...those things are horrible...have yet to see one work with almost 10 years of Honda transmission experience....I have thrown about 20 of them or so in the dumpster after they destroyed peoples transmissions.

There have been no failures (if there have, the owner of the LSD didn't contact MFactory about it). They are made in Taiwan, not Hong Kong. The warehouse and HQ is in Hong Kong. As far as Customs goes, it is the first thing mentioned on MFactory's website in their Terms. You can either have them give you an all inclusive quote or purchase through a dealer that takes care of customs for you ().

As far as quality, I won't even install OBX's anymore. Runout is very poor, with the only thing being worse is their customer service (30% restocking fee on a defective part?). Quaife is good. Their runout is almost as good as MFactory. I've only had one Quaife fail. Quaife fixed it under their warranty, but turnaround was 6 weeks from the time I shipped it to them until I got it back.

Some pics of prototype LSD's I've worked with. You'll have to find pics of a Quaife and OBX torn down as I don't tear them down as it voids the warranty.

Have installed MFactory and Quaife diffs. Both install wonderfully and both are great quality. Given everything I've seen, the MFactory is indeed the best bang for the buck. I've seen several guys on here put down a lot of power with them so most guys won't have an issue.

OBX and Phantom Grip... let's not get started. lol

Mfactory makes quality products at even better prices. They have great customer service and stand by their products 100%. I just put my trans together and it will be used within a few weeks so I will let you know how my 4.05 Final Drive,LSD,1st gear and synchros work!
I have heard nothing but good things about everything to do with the company!
