Heard Ladwig ran some 8.3s in testing at Bradenton. Look out Hot Rod class.

Heard Gardella will be the first to run 7's in that class, so an 8.3 is way off. I mean since we are talking rumors.

Heard and someone saying they will run a 7 is completely different. Now do you guys know why my predictions are what I said they will be.

I talked to Marty yesterday and he had a lot of news to report but I'm sworn "to keep my big mouth shut" the hotrod class is going to be the most competitive class(I think) this season and there is going to be a lot of quick et's. Yes Roush did come aboard this year as a sponsor and the new paint schemes are sick and yes I did say scheme(s)!

I dunno I think the allmotor class will prolly be the most competitive this season, not the hot rod class. Everyone seems to be into the all motor phase.

i'll second that since there are lots of new cars coming out, in the all motor class, this season up here in Canada.

I'm going to get flamed for this one.

Congratualtions to Marty on breaking the record. He didn't just break it, he smashed the hellout of it. Good job man.

Now, to all the haters. I'm not anti Honda, I'm pro fast. I don't care who it is

Gary, get your record back man!!!!!!

you guys know these records never stand long at all.. the mph record might hang around a bit... until racing gets as consistent as the real stuff where 1st and 8th are like .4 apart records will come and go... but just like clayton said.. go get that **** back gary!

yes the average racer could buy a sunfire and race and run #'s like the GM car....... sure they will have to spend 50,000+ to even compete they forgot to mention that millions went into that program to run those #'s

willie who said anything about the average racer, sure it does take a lot of money, but these are all pro cars, i dont know how you interpreted my post but i give marty a lot of praise for the record (not in this post), hot rod is a very exciting class and the point is these cars are just gonna keep getting faster

there are a number of competitive cars who all have a shot at the record, i happen to be a gary fan, and also know he didnt have the millions behind him last year when he set it so if you are biased towards marty sorry if you dont like my response,
marty is one of the fastest, and probabaly the most consistent racer there is, i give him praise, we need more teams like this to grow the sport.

jay he said it on interview before they started the eliminations on the internet, i know marty well but not the average racer could buy a sunfire and race like they put it on radio and interviews.
