Thanks guys. Transmission "broke" on a hard first gear launch, but I can't find any damage...? Magnets inside had a considerable amount of shavings... but the gearset etc. looks good. Hmm... I will post some more pictures for opinions.

Sure it wasn't an axle that broke? It'll act like a broken trans, car won't go anywhere.

it still has teeth on 4th gear. atleast i know you didnt steal it from me haha. i havnt even looked at my car in weeks. it pissed me off

tony's thinking on the axle seems more logical to me....especially if it broke on a launch.

He got the tranny from a customer, and that was the story from the customer. He didn't pull it out of the car. Customer said he put a new trans in and everything worked, so it was probably just that an axle popped out of the diff on that trans.

I broke an axle long time ago thought it was the tranny so i replaced the tranny and go to put the axle back in and the outer joint was cracked in like 4 pieces with one of the ***** missing from the cage gator
