i think, when u have ur rear suspension tuned,

using limiting straps up front prevents the front from lifting, kinda like the car wants to lean on towards the rear, and the front springs tend to help lift the front... due to weight transfer..

i could be totally wrong.. haha lets w8t for those in the know to chime in... hihihi

i think thats about the answer,

in a nutshell it prevents the front from lifting.. due to weight transfer , during acceleration

I don't use them. When launching or going down the track weight gets transferred back and you can't do much about it. In my opinion strapping the control arm or fork to the body may even lift the wheel. I say let your suspension do the work. May I suggest some OMNI POWER.

they limit the height the car can lift or the suspension can lift -
yes if set up correct it can help -
basiclly can limit the travel up of the strut - wich can help traction

if you have a car that does not have a "bolt on" strut this strapping can help you alot

the omni we used on our 10.o eg was great but not perfect - the car will still have upward travel untill you limit it some how. sway bar is another great idea

they can help alot, in our old 86 crx car the front did not have struts in the front only shocks and torsion bars. Limiting straps helped out the set-up alot.

Short stroke shocks will also do the same thing as straps. What suspension do you have?
