Niel Brown engineering was responsible for these engine configurations.
At the time, reversing the rotation allowed for a "standard" sequential trans to be
mounted to the block. Lok at the size of the flywheel!
They were rated at 300 crank HP. I think that they were limited to 8500 rpm.
Damn good BMEP for a 2000cc engine to be putting out 300hp @8500rpm.
