Lexan thickness???
Does anyone know what the required minimum thickness is for drag cars (windshield, doors, rear window, qtr. panel) Is it 1/8th inch on the sides and rear, but thicker for the windshield???

It depends on the assocation that you are racing with. Check those rules. My ACVW, Honda, Pinto and road racing car PC windows are always 1/8" thick unless the owners what the front 3/16".
I only been making them for 25+ years.....

the rule says 1/8th, but to be honest i haven't heard of anyone being pulled on to the carpet on it. I used 1/8th lexan all around the firsttime i did my hatch, now i have .093.
1/8" Polycarbonate (correct name, Lexan is GE's name for PC) is really .118" or 3 mm...
It saved the plastics makers (did you know the main source to make plastics is the waste from making gasoline?) boco bucks years ago......
