Hey guys, bought a trans off my buddy for 100bucks, it was a B16 w/a LSD. I pulled it apart to see what LSD was in it, and it appears to be a M-Factory (SCORE..lol) I tried looking on there site and they listed a 1,1.5,2 versions but not a lot of info on them. Do u guys know how to tell the difference in the 3??? Is it adding more springs maybe or moving them to a diff slot? Ima call them 2marrow, just would like a lil lead way w/it so I can have a better understanding over the phone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

 

first off, are you sure its a clutch type? post some pics or call synchrotech.

 

Are the ring gear bolt heads visible with the LSD in the case still? If so it is a Metal-Plate LSD. You'll need to pull it out and take pics of the cam through the LSD case. Post them and I can tell you which type it is.

If the ring gear bolt heads aren't visible with the LSD in the case, it is a helical and is a 1-way.
