Your first 1/8th is garbage, 4th gear is fine

man ive tried everything to get the 1st 1/8th better the ebst i can get was 1.70@112, and that was last weekend

today the track was really sticky started 2 step at 7200/7000 and got a 1.75
so i raied it to 7400/7200 and got a 1.79 and bogged. so i said hmmm lets raise it more since it bogged and well thats this slip lol it bogged worse. seems the higher i raise it the worse it gets, and the lower is better

I have a Crx that 1.6 60's about every other pass. The best I can run in the eighth is 7.4 but its a motor car. I find that tire pressure and track conditions are the biggest and contributors to a good sixty.

I'm going to speak from my experience today at the NSCRA event. My tuner turbogixxer(Kenny) told me I was shifting to early to second. So on the next pass I didn't shift into second until my car was passed the tree. I went from a 1.89 60' to a 1.62. I also played with tire pressure and boost in 1st gear but the biggest difference was staying in 1st longer. My 1/8 mph is close to yours but I went 6.85
@ 110mph with a 1.62

I think it's really just learning how to drive and dialing it in. Or crappy slicks. My car is on stock suspension, stock motor mounts and no traction bars

the issue is in rpm's for me when you fall from 7400-4200 at launch well thats an issue

did both it just got worse lol tire pressure was 6.5

boost was best at 6psi off the line ide add more and it would bog, and drop further in rpm's

raised 2 step in increments of 200 it just got worse boggin more and more

if your bogging hard off the line why are you only running 6.5lbs of tire pressure?

i see this isnt going to get me anywhere im not a newb, im not a dumbass either. please understand ive done and tried everything from 6.5-8psi in the tires, raised and lowered the 2 step, raised and lowered the boost in 2 step tried off 2 step.

i have people around me that have cars running 7's@171, and honda guys running mid to low 9's as wellhelping out. we just cant figure out why it drops 3500 rpm's at launch it just falls back way to far and out of power.

i agree with xenocron was its past the 1/8th its a powerhouse, but that short track has never ever been there

track was fantastic alex from humble in the oposite lane from me pulled a 1.59 60'

rx7 pulled 1.22 60'

rx2 1.33

prep was great most of us fwd guys were running 6.5 in the tires.

i had a vid camera there also, but i just told my wife she isnt going anymore since she got more of the other car than mine and it looked like a blare witch project type project

How much WHP does your car make? What size slicks? How much boost you building on the antilag? If your bogging either need to build more boost or up the tire pressure. I cut 1.60 60ft's with an open diff LS tranny.

Hey Graig...wanna Ro-Sham-Bo for who get to drive it lol?

i have noticed my antilag pops nicely 3-4 times then it sounds like it just surges after that i have a feeling this is where and why my rpms are dropping

I had the same size tires and made 721whp. I had to be leaving on around 15psi antilag to keep it from bogging.
