Default launching

i recently had a set of wheelie bars fabbed up to my 91 hatch and i know they are working cause my 60 ft has gone down a lot (from 1.91 to 1.63), but i have one question? i have drag launch springs in the rear and i have been told that i need to lighten up the springs in the rear so that the car will sit on the wheelie bars more... i dont quite understand how that will make my 60 ft better. the purpose of the all this is to eliminate the weight transfer, so dont you want to keep it as stiff as possible and use the load of the wheelie bars depending on how much the car still squats? please help.....

yes i would think that you would want the springs as stiff as possible... is your wheelie bar touching the ground at the line??

I am pretty sure you want soft springs in the rear and stiff up front. Opposite to what you would run if you were not running bars.

yea the bars are just touching the groung on the line.
i dont understand thought why you would want soft springs in the rear, that would cause the car to want to squat more till it uses the bars to load it.
