Default Launch RPM

Well i am kinda curious what everyone seems to be launching at with slicks. above 300whp.

My set up is over 420whp and i have some 23x8 MH slicks i am going to be using tomorrow. I understand track condition has some to do with lauch rpm but im curious is to what or where the cushon is from 6800rpm +

also if possible would you tell the 60' times buy lauching at your rpm and what HP your car is.

Thank yea..

This is gong to help future people not just me. so please remember this when giving information.

400+hp, 5800rpms, 24.5x8.5 slicks, 1.7 60ft. As soon as the clutch comes up it goes straight to the rev limiter.

last year i used to launch 330whp on radials at 5k with no anti lag.

this year i did 415whp on 24.5x8.5x13s, launched at 7k with anti lag and it caught traction pretty much right away. i think i had 9 psi in the tires

your anti-lag setup is this through your EMS (hondata..etc) or do you have a separate controll

hondata s300, 7600 rpm two step no antilag(car makes 15psi with no anti lag)

496whp consistant mid 1.6 sixty foots on 24.5x8.5x15, tire pressure was 7.5-8psi, m&h slicks. you might want a little lower with the smaller slicks.

Every set up is different. Just take it to the track and try different launch RPM's and see what works out better for you. I used to launch at 7900RPM and changed to a much bigger intercooler and had to change it to 8350RPM so the car wouldnt bog of the line. I run M&H 25x8.7x13 and cut 1.61 60's
