Default lauching tech

i have a h22 hatch

182.54 whp I/E/h and 143.53 lbs

i have stock springs and rt-615 brand new on 40psi.

I took it up to the track the fast time was

.094 reaction time
14.92@94mph
2.3 60ft

i rev up to 3-4G's and just drop the clutch and punch it? i get a lot of wheel hop

i'm trying to get my 60ft down and my time should drop also.

any ideas

i have a lcon's traction bar in just installed

kyb front shocks and springs set up not installed yet

900lbs skunk2 drag springs no installed yet

look for some help i have here of loading the clutch.... from what i go that's holding the e-brake on and let the clutch out abit.... then what do you do or does this even help?

and should i get in the bleach box...water box with the azenis rt-615's? and what psi should i have the at.

i though i would come close to 13's i've only raced the car about 10 times total with old set up and with the 182 hp out put .

I'm going to install the drag springs and the front kyb's should help looks like the old stock one's are blown anyway's

drop down your front tire psi to around 20-25 to get better traction off the line, but leave your rear tires at 40psi. don't dump the clutch, instead, try and easing off the clutch and into the gas about evenly. launching is one of those things that takes alot of practice, good luck...

reading your post was one of the hardest things to do.....grammer and typos, oh my!
anyways, dropping tire pressure is one good thing to do...
definately working on your rpm range is a good idea. Slipping the clutch aggressively is ideal from what i have done. Drops me down to solid 2.2 evertime on the older rt 215's.
I'll be trying to do 2.1's on street tires soon.
although a 2.3 isnt tooooo bad, your times and trap speed are considerably low especially in your model car. With your power to weight ratio, I would assume that you would be able to pull at least 97-98mph traps.

my eg si wtih a gsr motor pulled 14.5 with a 2.5 60ft ( ) at 97mph. i would defintaly think your power and tq numbers should push you down the track faster

suspension can definately be a factor in that department.
try dropping our 60's and see how that effects your time...
good luck

First off never ever ever ever.... Just Drop the clutch at a certain RPM, i suggest you Rev to like 5k and slowly pull out the clutch, as soon as you feel the wheel burning out like sort of a chirping and you get that sense that your car is a bat outta hell(Modulate the clutch and gas until you catch traction if you are spinning tires too much), once you catch traction fully release the clutch and gas it 100 percent throttle. Also are you shifting at Fuel cut? Maybe your shifting too low and you dont know, for the hell of it give it a slow run all the way to redline on your swap and see where it is fuel cut on your stock tach. Remember that and shift at that spot every shift.
