Kmod performance failed me today
This is precisely what is wrong with our industry. Everyone can't own up to the they did something wrong and then they start a Pissing contest cause they feel its easier to blame. Dude, bottom line, if my car goes to the dyno and within the first few pulls is acting like a retard. I'm yanking it off the dyno and taking it back to our shop to see wtf. Clearly your not a tuner yourself and your hardly in a position to blame anything on the tuner when you don't understand the science of it. That's like like taking their first ever build to a tuner then blaming a tuner for all the oversights. During ANY TUNING session I've ever seen or been a part of, if something is jacked up, that is outside the scope of dyno tuning. Your basically saying you expected them to fix the things during the dyno for FREE. Get real. The build sounds like it was half *** done as it is anyway. If your gonna build your car yourself you better make damn sure you double check everything unless you want to pay more or have something gi terribly wrong. Now can this Pissing contest please.
As soon as I read VTECH I knew this kid really wasent mechanically inclined or capable of building a ligit car. Please Please start with small projects before you decide to go big. If the car is junk then its junk. There is no way around that
I have no problem with kmod besides he was not straight up with me during the tuning session..and as far as that last post bout his vehicle.that's not me I never talk **** bout somebody elses race car or street car, that they put hard earned money into, for them to call it a (POS) What's he gonna do call everybody's car that he try's to tune a (POS) when it's not as easy as he wants it to be? And 2 hours max on dyno..other shops that ppl I know say they ran there car longer then 2hrs?
At one point we all think that we can build cars and then we have to take them to a "professional" to look over everything we THOUGHT was right lol. In my opinion i feel like the tuner is wrong. If the car was/is as bad as Kmod said it is then why was it on the dyno in the first place? He makes it sound like its a fire hazard junkbox. My tuner in Jersey checks EVERYTHING BEFORE we start making pulls. If we have a problem on the dyno it gets addressed immeadiately. No one wants to waste money. Sounds like that car never should of made a pass. **** always happens, and the "hurry up and buy" tactics of this shop is def a turn-off
I would of him said hey I can't tune this car within the 1st hour or so..I woulda paid for a hour on dyno & paid him to take it back over to his shop and tryin find what the problem could have been..and then we could have set up another tuning session on another date..instead jerking me around to get paid for a full dyno session..Idw anything done for free or half price I just don't want to waste money

thats the same thing that i wouldve done, but coming on here and blasting them just burned your bridge, and severed any ties of reconciliation. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and find a better shop.
Spend enough time around a dyno and you'll see this a lot. The cars built like **** and the owner of the car expects the tuner to fix all of the problems for the original price of just tuning it. I know a lot of tuners won't even touch a car if they think it's gonna be a problem.

This^^^^^ Btw you never once said on the phone you where going to tune TWO cars in two hours and i obv understood you where opening earlier cause your hours are clearly on your website. but when we got there you where still taking your sweet time to get of the computer if your pressed for time. Didnt i hear you say some one parts didnt come in today so u cant finsh there car?
Im seriously not trying to be the *** that everyone normally knows me as and I would typically stay out of someones issues, but for someone who really doesn't know much about tuning, and brought a half *** done car, you sound like a COMPLETE AND TOTAL CRY BABY BITCH! Move on with your life already. If you had this other tuner in Jersey that is oh so awesome you had all the trust in the world for, you shouldn't have changed tuners then. It's shows disloyalty.

KMod is a good guy, stand up person from what I've seen. Somewhere, something went wrong and I'm finding it to be quite apparent through my readings here. Good luck and happy business to ya, Marquis!
While the shop would have better served you by simply telling you to get the car properly prepared before tuning at the first sign of trouble, it sounds like you were in a hurry to get the tune done and wouldn't take no for an answer (thus booking time with them over your regular tuner). Looks like you were hot to get this thing tuned, come h3ll or high water, thus the predictable ending.
