Best time I got was 15.0 @ 92MPH with a 2.2 60ft time. Setup is 92 hatch w/ gsr motor (intake/exhaust). Tires: 13'' vx wheels w/ bald stock tires. I'm still surprised I was able to pull off a 2.2 60ft. Spin like crazy when I shift into 2nd, as well as mad wheel hop. I think it's time to upgrade the wheel/tire combo. What do you guys recommend? What times do you think I'll be pulling off at a "good" track?

Go with a light weight rim and the stickiest street rubber you can get. I would think you can hit mid 14's , if you can drive.....

 

More traction! I can see that you were have the main traction problems after the 60 ft right?

 

Yea, shifting into 2nd...loss of traction big time....on the launch...I was trying to slip the clutch as best as possible.

 

palmdale sucks... id rather goto carlsbad and deal with the dirt roads

go with a nice light weight 15 inch rims with maybe 205/50/15s

What kinda 15s would you recommend? I want something that's subtle....to help with the sleeper look.

go with 14's and some good Bf goodrich drag tires

 

hahaha iwas just going to post that... maybe some HX rims with BFG drag radials
the rims will be oem honda... so that could be a sleeper...
you can run carlsbad on saturday for test trials... everyonce in a while they have a imports vs. ___ that people attend .. those are held on sundays...

but 15 inch rims id run would be place1 QF race rims or finardi's
