jimfab adjustment?

Default jimfab adjustment?

I did a search. I was wondering what is the correct way to adjust them. Car on the ground or in the air? Also not quite sure what it means by preloading them. Thanks.

I adjust mine on the ground at ride height.
I dont have jimfabs, but I have mine adjusted a **** load too...
like 5 turns
