jegs roll cage??
jegs got an 8 pt roll cage kit for $170. does anyone have or know someone who has bought and installed this cage? a pic would be great, but an explanation of fitment and install would be cool too. this is for my 91 crx. but info on another chassis would help also. thanks

it is probably on point with s and w. a decent kit, but may be a little long to ut in the way you want.
the vast majority will tell you, and me also, a custom kit fits better and looks better.

Re: jegs roll cage?? (boostedcivicsir)
in my integra I had a custom/S&W kit.
bars when through the dash and S&W custom bent the rears to clear the back seat for power street. good kit but if you have someone who can bend piping for you do it that way

http://www.safedrives.com/products.asp?cat=103 they are a Honda-tech sponsor and I got my cage for my civic from them installed no problems. They are pretty much same price as jegs. Good Luck

Re: jegs roll cage??
this is the jegs kit in my eg. it fits fantastic. the pipes were long so you can cut to length but the bends were good. i did have to finesse the notches a little bit but thats no biggie.
make sure you read up on the rules/requirements for whatever type of racing you want to do with it so its installed to spec

Re: jegs roll cage??
I had a cage made by JEGS for my 1991 CRX Si. The hoop was actually too wide. I sent it back to JEGS and they returned it for no cost. They sent me another one, but, still too wide. I ended up going with a SNW Racecars 10pt. cage. Fit great with no issues. Total was $307.35

Re: jegs roll cage??
I would say it probably won't pass certification. Fitment isn't as good as a kens Kustom or s&w. They need to be tight to the panels etc. I have their roll bar in my car and it's subpar and getting replaced

Re: jegs roll cage??
This is what I have to show for pics on my Photobucket. We bent the rear bars to go over the rear seats like that. It comes with straight bars. Also didn't install the door bars. When this jegs cage went in it was for a goal of high ten second passes.
I'll be installing a chromoly 10 point cage this summer

Jegster 948901K: Roll Bar Kit Civic Coupe 1992-95 | JEGS
So, I'm looking at one of these too for my Civic Coupe (92-95).
Autopower quality is great and their bars are used by many-- but I may be getting a NASA-spec cage welded in this car and I don't want to shell out $500 for a bar and then pay for shipping too, only to have it removed by me then sell it for about half-price.
How good of a fit is this for a 92-95 coupe?
Anyone have pictures of the hoop height relative to the roof?
How close to the b-pillars is the bar?
I'm going to have a friend weld it in over the winter and then i'll grind the welds out myself if I end up converting this car into an H3/H2 car.
