Instrument cluster/wiring/check engine light problem?!?!?!?!?!
Here's the story. I have been having trouble with my check engine light...Vehicle Speed Sensor, and TPS sensor, the problem is that when the CEL comes on it disenguages VTEC, you can switch off the ignition, then it runs fine and VTEC works...until it throws the CEL again!
With that said, here is where my problem comes in. I gutted my car (94 hatch), from the firewall to the back, I removed the dash, blower box, wiring harnesses, and everything else (except for the fuse box, and the wires coming from the engine).
Is there any way to bypass the CEL, or rig up a warning light to take the place of the CEL in the cluster. I am making a panel, and putting autometer guages in where the cluster should be.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Nick
