hey guys im have a fully built turbo lsv using skunk 2 pro 3 cams and degreed the cams to be in spec with the cam card, when i started my brand new motor i tried to set the ignition timing but i noticed that when im maxed advanced at my distributor ,the cranks mark only reaches to the middle mark on the pulley and cant reach the last mark. is this normal when you degree a bigger cam. at tdc the cam marks are off about a tooth.
did you put the engine management into set timing mode? s300 requires it i know.
Or you can jump the plug that lets you check the Check engine light and it will lock it i believe. I
a tooth is quite a ways off, post a pic of your cams when the pulley is at TDC. I know mine is a solid 1/4" past the TDC mark when the cam marks are aligned....but its a Dialed in LSVTAK
