500whp in a full weight Teg should definately get you into the mid high 10's on 24.5's if your putting the power down.

What kind of trap speed is a good indicator the car is capable of high 10's? 130?

Depending on how well your car hooks and mainly how well the track hooks id say 128+mph traps should be good... but it all varies..

I went 11.1 at 128 a bunch of times at like 410whp in a 2200lbs car. Then 10.6 at 132 with 475whp. Hope that helps some.

haha, no fwd, we were having some bugs actually. no vids but i got the slip. the only reason we knew it was 290whp was because we went to the dyno AFTER a few trips to the track.

290whp and 131 mph trap doesnt sound right for a 2400lbs car

I did 10.89 @ 130 406 whp years back in my 4 door EG civic.

2300-2500ish pounds, 400 whp can go 10s if you are setup properly.

yeah no ****, its actually about 140whp off... Id tend to believe the track over the dyno.. if a car is trapping 131 and weighs 2450 its making 429whp that pass regardless of what the dyno said.. the 365whp trapping 125mph is about right for the power

dynos can be facked up sometimes, i went to the dyno one day and did a whopping 275whp, went out that ngiht to the track and trapped 119-120 all night long in a 2650lb DC2...

Lots of factors always play in these situations, but 475whp in a 2200lb car will get you well in the 10's.

i went 11.1 @ 130 with a 1.77 60' dyno'd 490whp the night before. full weight 4dr integra (db8) weighed 2720 with me in it (i weigh 175)

i would say 450whp in a civic, and 500+ in an integra will get you there.

i'm trying to go 10's with less than 400 HP. my car only weighs 1700 lbs though. 1g crx. put down 310 hp on the dyno and traps 126 mph. best pass to date was 11.36 @ 126 mph. only 15 psi of boost. hoping another 5 psi can push into 10's. i might be dreaming though. hahahahahaha
