ok,it is a d16z6 with after market pistons,high lift cams,portes and polished head,high flow oil pump ,and new rings and bearings..i was thinking about going for 100 shot, is that to much?

Sounds like it could take; however, start with 50 or 60 shot then gradually work up from there. See how the motor takes it. I know of guys that have run 65 shot on stock motor, but I am not sure of their outcome.
