I have been having a few issues with my car. Well i worked some of them out and yesterday i got to take her for a spin.
8/8/09 Englishtown Test n Tune. i was on the gate (15psi). I had set the bar low, and would be happy with a 11.99.

The 2 step was giving issues. So i left off the limiter (9200'ish) and this was the slip. Missed 3rd gear. Good thing too i guess. I have no cage in the car yet.

Rundown on the set-up.

81mm stock sleeve piston n rod (9.7:1 CPs/Eagles) LsVtec
TD AutoWerkz Topmount, SC6162BB
24.5" M/H
stock GSR tranny w/ ITR diff
I guess at 15psi the car should be making 410-420'ish.

went out to Englishtown yesterday and let me tell you "Holyyy slick downsss"..

ANY and ALL kinda of misshaps happened yesterday

I think a car hit the wall, a ton of cars broke (no hondas :-) and oiled the wholeeeee track, and a car even ran into the sandtrap !!

Anyway, i got 2 passes in 6 hours (YES 6 hours. I don't know how, but they kept the track open till 12am). My lass pass was at 11:49pm

Best i could pull off was a 11.0@126 (15psi in 1st and 2nd, 16psi in 3rd and 4th). It was cold out, and it actually spiked a bit to 16.8-17psi in 3rd and 4th.

But i gained 3 mph in the 1/8th and lost 2 mph in the 1/4 over my 11.1 pass which i don't really understand .. But the car also broke up then bogged on the 1-2 shift. I'll post video soon.



Turned it up (20psi in every gear).. First pass was a 10.64@137mph.. The next was on the brakes a lil after the 1000' (no cage, got yelled at pretty bad and was told "if you go 11.50 or 135mph+ i will never see the inside of this track everrr again.., lol)

How do you guys get 1.6 60 feet ? The best i could ever get was a 1.9 60 feet. I have an integra with an lsvtec shooting a 60 shot of nitrous. The fastest I got my car to run was a 13.012 @ 108mph. with a 2.03 60 feet. My M/T were 22x 8x 15'' and psi. is down to 10psi cold.

Please tell me your secret to getting low 60'

I donno. preload and spray out the hole i guess. lol (i say a bigger tire . 23's on 13's)

i was cutting shitty sixty foots the 2 previous passes. This one i left off the limiter and took some air out . it was 8psi before the burnout.

I preload the car and revved to the limiter on the 2nd yellow bulbe and dropped the brake and it hookeddd!!

i was a lil suprised it hooked so well with no-2step. My hand almost slipped off the wheel. :-x

2352lbs with me in it. lol

I was a lil suprised because when i was N/A it was 2456lbs with me in it. And i know i added weight with the turbo parts.

Only difference now is just a driver seat, and no full exhaust. (previously there was no bumper supports )

Congrads, do you have a dyno sheet? I have the same turbo interested to see what kind of powerband you have with it.

hopefully in 2 weeks when i can get a cage in the car so i can put 40% more power in the car without fear of hearing a sob story from the tower ;-)

right now i'm just happy to get the car dialed into a 11.50 car to have a good showing in the radial class at Honda Day

going off the mph id say the car was making more like 360whp or so... but you did say you missed 3rd right?

yea, the car was trapping close to 130mph on the previous pass launching at about 6000rpm. The car bogged sooo bad. It went 12.2@129.89 with a 2.1 sixty foot.

Had i not missed 3rd gear, i think it would have MPH around 132mph'ish. But we'll know for sure this Wednesday (granted it dosent rain).

PS: The car made 552whp@22psi. And I'm going to make full use of this 3 bar map.(hopefully i can milk 620whp out of it, and drive my *** off. Should put me well into the 10's untill i can get my sleeved block finished)

i'll try to get the suspension dialed in and get the car going straight . What i lack in power, hopefully i can make up in the short track ( because right now it's got a lotttt of room to improve)

might have a little "friendly" wager on a race this Wed with a 06 E55 AMG Benz in the amount of $1500 (at the track :-). Anyone have any info on them?

It's from my understanding stock motor and charger. With a chipped/flashed ecu on a MT 236-60-15" tire and Exhaust.

good job, 330'ft. to 1/8th mile seems a bit slow though. are you full throttle shifting?
