Default How long does it take to cool down between runs??

I'm going to an all day drag even, and I was wondering how long u usually wait in between runs to cool down, or what tactics or devices You all use to help you cool down?? I've heard icing the intake manifold--- intercooler blah blah. Let me know what you all do in between runs!

I usually wait 20-30 minutes before I run again. I'll pop the hood, and try to park in a shady spot, or at least where the sun is at my back. And I usually only run 2-3 times max, then I'll park and let the car cool down. Some people (especially domestics) throw a bag of ice on the intake mani. I've never tried it.

You could get a switch for your radiator fan so it will run whenever you want it to.

both my cars dont need any cool down time. i could run the same times all day long no matter how hot the car got. the only time it really changes is when the air density changes.

I'll usually run about 6-8 passes in a row before I let the car cool down (cool down time is like 15-30 minutes) and when I'm in cool down mode as I'm waiting for the other people to race before they allow the imports to continue I'll keep my radiator fan running (I wired in a switch) and set a bag of ice over my intake manifold...
