got a crx with an ls motor with most bolt-ons.. i can never seem to launch it right even at 3g's at 35psi on Azenis.. i drop clucth at launch... anyone who got any ideas on how to launch better by not dropping the pressure let me know...

With a ls motor i would set tire psi to 22. Also if you crx is lowered check the camber this plays a big role in your launch. You also might try to pre load the drive train when you launch. If you are street racing Dr. Pepper works very well if you cant get VHT also any hi syrup content beverage... root beer, hawaiin punch etc.

hahaha. .. . pour a 2 liter bottle of dr. pepper down on the street infront of your car before you run.. "this is for my homies" i guess if it works?? but people are going to be asking themself "wtf?" like i would if i saw that....

 

22psi= mad wheel hop which makes for broken diffs and axles. Try dropping your tire pressure to around 28psi. Launch at 3-4k pre loading the clutch. Feather the throttle a bit till you feel the tires bite and then nail it. Thats what I do and have found works best. Any lower then 28psi and I start getting nasty wheel hop in my CRX with my B20.
