Re: long first gear b18c
The only tall first gear ( i can think of that's off the shelf) and direct swap to your stock 1st gear is 3.07 which offered by companies like Mfactory, ATS or Gear X... kazz made 2.667 1st gear which comes with main shaft but they are discontinued a long time ago. I think toda has 2.929 tall 1st gear but is way expensive. Im not a gear expert but others will chime in asking what power is your motor making, tyres size, weight of your car etc etc..

If you have a true 98 Spec 4.7 Type R trans you will need the specific longer gear for your setup. There is a difference between US Spec Type R/96 Spec JDM Type R and the 98 Spec JDM Type R 1st Gear. I can get you the specific 3.0 1st gear for your setup. Feel free to PM me for pricing.
