Get rid of you DA, or convert it to a DD, and buy a EF or EG. Sorry but if you want a light DA, its going to take alot more work then its worth. I know, I started to build one as a racecar.

LOL thanks for the Opinion i actually went from a EF hatch w/B18 to this DA w/ a B16 kinda down graded but after i sold the hatch i picked up the B16 then found the DA shell in really good shape and picked it up for only $500 no rust and already had vtec harness in it. i bought the car and spent absolutely nothing puttting the swap in i had everything sitting around.. kinda a peace together but i decided i wanna run the teg this year lol BTW its gonna be drag raced this year not autoxed

Remove your sunroof and get a plug. The glass in the hatch is heavy. Remove it and replace it with a FAL unit. Maybe get a carbon fiber hatch and hood. etc.. etc...

Strip the car to a bare shell and only put back whats needed. You'd be suprised how fast weight comes off.

not a bad idea but what i think im gonna do is pull the motor again and completely strip the engine bay of all that's not needed first and then worry about the interior Has anyone ever successfully tucked a DA i might attempt to when i have the motor out
