Help us get IFO
I am starting a campaign to further push getting IFO to Bandimere. We need everyone's help, so pass the word EVEN IF you never plan on attending here. Everyone's participation will be a great help.
Derrick (HAV) and I, have worked with Cliff a few times in the past to try and make this happen to no avail. So with that said, the plan is to take a more extreme approach.
What we need from you, send an email. Yes, that's it.
We need everyone we can get, to send Bandimere Speedway an email touting IFO, its success across the country, and the movement that follows. The key point though, they need to be sent in the same time frame.
That time frame will be July 10th-12th
The email addresses to send it to, johnjr@bandimere.com and sporty@bandimere.com
The goal is to overwhelm them, so copy/paste this to other boards that you frequent, and help spread the word. Help us get a great event to a great track.

I'm game to help out. We've wanted one there for a while now too, as we're only an 8 hr drive away! We'd always have at least a couple cars to come attend!
I don't see how spamming and flooding two peoples inboxes with emails will help your cause. That will just **** them off. Then if they come to this thread and they see it says send an email even if you don't plan on attending that will make you and all the emails loose all credibilty and appear even more like spam.
A better approach would be to get a list of names together of all the racers that plan on attending and writing a professional letter as to why it would be good for those two people to host an IFO event at their location. Project the amount of racers, show cars, and fans that would be attending put a dollar amount to that number and then calculate how much food on average a person could possibly spend.
If I was a track owner and my inbox got flooded with e-mails in a two day time period I would be less then excited to work with you or IFO.

even if you don't plan on attending, but have attended an IFO before, you can help with a simple vouch. From trying to book with them in the past, it seems they weren't interested because of other events that canceled on them last minute. Lets face it, Import promotions are very risky. Pretty much every tour has either gone bust or only hosts events locally.
If you've attended some of our events, you'd know first hand the series is successful. That is all they'd need to hear.

Maybe make one of those free online petitions and have everyone sign it and then send it over to the track along with a professional looking email. Maybe have some of the higher up's in the industry vouch for IFO events and quote them in the letter....
Cliff said it, right on the nose. NOPI was the nail in the coffin here. We've been at this for about 5 years now. I've had meetings with the Bandimere staff multiple times, and they see it as a big risk. This may seem unreasonable, but it is a tactic that cannot be ignored.
Wish we could get something like this for zmaxx in NC. Heard there was a date in oct that got switched. Guess they dont like imports in the heart of NASCAR country.
